Shanxi is a big coal province in China, and it is also rich in coalbed methane resources. According to the data, the geological resources of coalbed methane buried less than 2000 meters deep in Shanxi Province are about 8.31 trillion cubic meters, accounting for 27.7% of the predicted resources in China.
Data show that since the third quarter of this year, the progress of coalbed methane exploration and development in Shanxi has accelerated significantly. In the first 10 months, 48 CBM projects in the province completed an investment of 7 billion yuan and 1041 wells. Compared with the first half of the year, the engineering construction was significantly accelerated and the output increased rapidly.
